Hollywood actor Kevin Spacey will be awarded a lifetime achievement prize at a charity gala in Cannes on Tuesday, writes The Guardian.
Better World Fund announced on Sunday that the actor will be recognized "for his decades of artistic brilliance" at a charity gala on the French Riviera. The gala takes place simultaneously with the film festival in Cannes, but is not an official part of the festival.
Kevin Spacey was acquitted in 2023 in a British trial for sexual assault. Last year, the British TV documentary "Kevin Spacey unmasked" was shown, where new men brought forward accusations against the American actor, who has denied allegations of assault.
Spacey was last seen on the red carpet in Cannes in 2016.
