Kevin Spacey plays against, among others, Peter Stormare in the new thriller "Awakening", reports Deadline. The film is about Jason (Justin Tinto) and Rebecca (Alice Eve) who discover a conspiracy aimed at taking over world domination. The lead actor Justin Tinto has written the script together with director Matt Routledge and the film company's CEO, Matt Hookings.
The "Awakening" has a strong message that comes extremely timely in our current society and considering everything that is going on in the world, says Hookings to Deadline.
Kevin Spacey was acquitted in 2023 in a British trial for sexual abuse. Last year, the British TV documentary "Kevin Spacey unmasked" was shown, where new men brought forward accusations against the American actor who denied allegations of abuse.
