The NBA season starts on October 22.
According to AP, one of the league's biggest stars, Kevin Durant, extends his contract with Houston Rockets by two years.
If Durant fulfills the contract, he will be around 850 million kronor richer and thus the basketball player who has earned the most money from his salary in basketball history.
In total, he will have earned almost 600 million dollars – equivalent to around 5.65 billion kronor – during his career. This would make him surpass LeBron James by about 15 million kronor, but it depends on how long James continues to play.
Durant has been one of the league's best players for almost 20 years and has won two NBA titles with Golden State Warriors as well as four Olympic Games gold medals with USA.
