Kent's six concerts at the end of March have had a clear effect on hotel bookings in Stockholm.

The occupancy rate has increased by 22 percent compared to the same days last year, writes the industry organization Visita, referring to figures from Benchmarking Alliance.

"When a quarter of a million people gather in the same place, it creates a significant impact on the local economy – not least for restaurants and hotels. It is a much-needed boost for companies in the tourism industry now in March, which has otherwise been a very tough month economically", says Thomas Jakobsson, chief economist at Visita, in a comment.
