Adrian Kempe scored both a goal and an assist when his Los Angeles team defeated Philadelphia at home with 5–4.
The goal, which meant 2–2, came with just over three minutes left of the first period when Brandt Clarke served his Swedish teammate in a Los Angeles counterattack.
The home team then had to fight against the wind and were down 3–4 before the final period. Then Anze Kopitar stepped forward, first with an equalizer and then with the winning goal – where Kempe assisted.
With tonight's harvest, the 28-year-old from Kramfors has so far this season been credited with 17 goals and 18 assists.
