Keiko Fujimori looks set to win Peru's election

With 99.86 percent of the votes counted, Fujimori has 50.12 percent of the vote in the election held on June 7. This represents a margin of just over 43,000 votes over leftist candidate Roberto Sánchez.

An estimated 39,300 votes remain to be counted, according to Onpe.

Keiko Fujimori is making her fourth attempt to become president. She is the daughter of former authoritarian President Alberto Fujimori, who was deposed and is imprisoned.
