Two men who were killed in an incident on Kebnekaise at the end of April fell over a hundred meters, reports P4 Norrbotten.

The men, who were in their 35-year-old and worked for the Swedish Tourist Association (STF), died according to the ongoing investigation after an anchor point for their rope released from the mountain.

This led to a long fall.

It's over 100 meters, could also be 150. I don't know exactly, says prosecutor Christer B Jarlås to P4.

According to STF, the men were out to collect ropes from a completed competition in the area. They were found dead on April 25 near Halspasset.
