It is out of the question if we do not back down from such a harmful policy as a slaughter of road maintenance, says Minister of Infrastructure Andreas Carlson (KD).
He and KD leader Ebba Busch made the statement at a press conference on a road in Solna.
KD points out that S, in its infrastructure motion, wants to move 45 billion kronor in the government's infrastructure plan from road maintenance to railways during the years 2026-2037.
"It is the smaller roads in rural and sparsely populated areas that are affected the most. This is a betrayal and a threat," says Carlson.
