We want to lower the threshold and show that politicians can be quite down-to-earth and easy to meet, says Jacob Havneraas, who is running for KD in Malmö.
The party has applied for a service permit to sell beer and wine, but also plans to offer non-alcoholic alternatives. The requirement to serve food in order to serve alcohol was abolished on June 1.
KD has not had a seat on Malmö City Council since 2010.
