"Since it's about my safety, I won't go into it further," she says in an interview with Dagens Nyheter.
It was the newspaper Flamman that reported last week that Teodorescu Måwe, in her latest declaration of interests to the European Parliament, which all members of the European Parliament must submit, stated "ongoing financial support from a private donor related to her personal security arrangements."
The declaration contains no information about who the private donor is or what amount is involved.
"I have had it approved and the whole process has gone through parliament, and of course I have also informed the party in parallel," she tells DN.
