Kaunis Iron's mining operations in Pajala are secured after the Supreme Court decided not to grant a review permit for the operation's environmental permit, the company said in a press release.
The Land and Environmental Court of Appeal's ruling in the case is therefore upheld, meaning permission for continued and expanded mining operations at Tapuli, Palotieva and Sahavaara, and associated operations at the Kaunisvaara enrichment plant.
