Katy Perry Avoids On-Stage Accident During San Francisco Concert

During her concert in San Francisco on Friday, Katy Perry was close to what could have been a nasty accident. When the pop star rode a large butterfly-like prop, the construction swayed heavily downwards and nearly threw off the singer.

It was during one of Perry's big hits "Roar" that the construction jerked downwards and then stopped moving along its cable. Perry was flying at several meters high when the incident occurred and screamed in the middle of the song. After a few seconds of catching her breath, she continued singing.

Afterwards, the star seems to have taken it all calmly. After the show, she posted on Instagram story a screenshot from the incident with her shocked face accompanied by the text "Goodnight San Fran", reports entertainment site TMZ.

The tour has been going on since April and ends in December with concerts in North America, South America, Europe and Asia.
