The 23-year-old singer wrote on social media that the decision was not easy, but that “health must come first.” The group’s management company Hybe says that Laforteza’s health and well-being are their top priority and that they are supporting her during her recovery.
In February, group member Manon Bannerman also took a break for mental health reasons and has yet to return. Katseye is scheduled to perform at the 88rising festival in Los Angeles on August 8 and on “The Tonight Show” on August 12.
