Children's Radio on Swedish Radio continues to broadcast Astrid Lindgren interpretations. In the spring of 2025, "Pippi Longstocking" was broadcast on Children's Radio – on Christmas Day, "Little Brother and Karlsson on the Roof" will be broadcast.
The program consists of twelve episodes. Actor Eric Stern, known from roles in, among others, "Sjölyckan", "Terese i kassan" and "Liv och död Strömquist", plays Karlsson in Barnradion.
"Little Brother and Karlsson on the Roof" is Astrid Lindgren's first book about Karlsson on the Roof, published in 1955.
