The corporate leader Karl Hedin has assigned Handelsbanken the task of finding buyers for the AB Karl Hedin's sawmill operations, building trade, and packaging industry, reports DI.
The building trade is located in over 50 locations and has a turnover of slightly more than three billion kronor. The sawmills also have a turnover of one billion kronor, according to the latest annual report from 2023.
Karl Hedin, however, does not comment on the expected price for the operations.
In 2019, the operations were divided into five separate companies. At that time, the assets were valued at nearly 7.2 billion kronor, including debts of 676 million kronor, the newspaper writes.
