"Over 40 years of public service are coming to an end. Yes, I intend to retire this fall," he writes.
Karin Magnusson, who has hosted the program "Morgonstudion" in recent years, writes in her post that you must take responsibility yourself if the organisation takes a different direction than the one you want to develop in.
"Either by liking the situation - for which there may be plenty of good reasons - or by going separate ways. I now choose the latter," writes Magnusson, who is leaving SVT after the election this fall.
Karin Magnusson joined SVT in 2017 from Aftonbladet, where she was head of culture, among other things.
