Kappahl acquires majority stake in second-hand chain Arkivet

The trend of recycling has been going on for a long time, and the second-hand market had a turnover of 1.1 billion in May alone, according to figures from Svensk Handel. Now Kappahl is jumping on the trend by buying second-hand chain Arkivet. Arkivet opened its first store in 2017 and has six stores in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö.
