West has during the year released music with Nazi slogans, sold t-shirts with swastikas on and been shut off from the platform X for, among other things, writing that he is a Nazi and that he "loves Hitler".

On Thursday, West published a series of posts on X. The first of them read:

"I am done with antisemitism."

He writes further that he "loves all people", that he asks for "God's forgiveness for the pain he has caused and that he "forgives all who have caused me pain".

"I simply got a FaceTime call from my kids and now I want to save the world again", writes West.

The whole thing may sound familiar. And it is.

Last year, in 2023, West renounced the Nazi glorification and the antisemitism he openly spread the previous year – which led to several heavyweight sponsors terminating their collaborations with him. But the conversion did not last long.
