Rapper Kanye West is set to release a new album, reports American media.
It was the 47-year-old star himself who announced the news in connection with an event in the city of Haikou in China on Saturday.
When the album, which goes by the name "Bully", will be released is not clear, and those who have followed West over the years know that he has a relatively relaxed attitude towards announced release dates. His latest records "Vultures 1" and "Vultures 2", which he made together with Ty Dolla Sign, were both delayed several times before they were finally released on different occasions earlier this year.
West, who now calls himself Ye, has been one of the world's biggest artists since his debut album "The College Dropout" was released in 2004. However, his music has been overshadowed in recent years by a number of controversial and anti-Semitic statements.
