The Turkish news agency Anatolia reports that the concert was the star's first in the country. The performance took place at the Atatürk Stadium and, according to the news agency, many fans from other European countries had made their way there.
The rapper released the song “Heil Hitler” in 2025, which sparked major controversy in the music industry. The 48-year-old, who has bipolar disorder, has since said he is “done with anti-Semitism.”
Recently, he has been banned from several countries and planned gigs in Poland and France have been canceled.
But he is welcome to Turkey. The concert was also streamed live on West's YouTube channel.
