"The concert with Ye (Kanye West), scheduled for June 19, 2026, at the Silesian Stadium, will not take place for formal and legal reasons," wrote the stadium's director, Adam Strzyzewski, in a press release published on the stadium's website.

The Polish Ministry of Culture has previously announced that it wants to prevent West from performing in the country.

Earlier this week, the rapper announced that he was postponing a concert in Marseille, France, on his own initiative after reports that France's Interior Minister wanted to stop him from performing.

The British government has also announced that the artist will not be granted a visa to enter the country, where he was scheduled to play three nights in a row during a festival.

The artist has made several anti-Semitic statements in recent years.
