The last time Kansas City missed the playoffs was in the 2014 season. In the past six seasons, the club has been to five Super Bowls – and won three of them. Kansas lost the last final to Philadelphia but had two straight victories before that.
However, missing the playoffs wasn't the only thing that went against the big team. Quarterback star Patrick Mahomes injured his cruciate ligament against the LA Chargers.
"All we can do now is trust in God and attack every day, over and over again," he writes on X.
