Ecological eggs from the company Stjärnägg are being recalled after salmonella was found during a routine check in the chicken coop.

No eggs have been confirmed to contain salmonella, the eggs are being recalled as a precaution, writes Stjärnägg in a press release.

The suspicion of salmonella concerns organic eggs with the labeling OSE828. According to the company, the eggs have been sold in "very limited extent" in several stores.

All eggs in Kalmar's municipal kitchens will be collected after the salmonella find, reports local media.
