In 17 long years, Susanna Kallur's European record in the 60 meter hurdles stood at 7.68. But now the record from Karlsruhe in February 2008 – which was a world record for 16 years – has been beaten. This as the Swiss Ditaji Kambundji struck with 7.67 in the final of the distance at the European Championship indoors in Apeldoorn.

It feels like a dream, says Kambundji to SVT Sport.

It was a race where everything just clicked. Completely crazy.

The 22-year-old Ditaji Kambundji's previous personal record was 7.80.
