Since 2017, he has been artistic director of the RIAS Kammerchor Berlin, considered by many to be one of the world's leading vocal ensembles. He is under contract there until 2030.
His collaboration with Eric Ericson's Chamber Choir began last year when he conducted the choir's concert "Sung Poetry".
"I am extremely happy and honored to have been entrusted with leading this outstanding ensemble. There is a special warmth in the strong individual voices and an unusual sensitivity to the collective expression," he says in a press release.
Starting on October 15, he will give his first concerts as the new chief conductor of the Swedish Chamber Choir.
