Several of the JVM squad play in the SHL on a daily basis. They had hoped to get players back on Wednesday to strengthen the team for Thursday's matches. That now seems unlikely.
Most likely they will not be able to play until Saturday.
The junior national team management announces that "no players will land on Swedish soil tomorrow, Wednesday; estimated arrival at various airports is Thursday."
"A larger group of players will probably land at Arlanda late afternoon on Thursday."
