Spanish singer Julio Iglesias denies sexually assaulting two female employees.

The women state in a police report that they were sexually assaulted and forced to work in slave-like conditions in Julio Iglesias' residences in the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas in 2021. One of them worked as a physiotherapist, according to AFP.

The story of the two women has received wide coverage in the Spanish media. Julio Iglesias, 82, is one of the most prominent artists in the Spanish-speaking world and also had major success with English-language albums in the 1970s and 1980s.
