"It feels incredibly great and an honor to welcome one of Europe's greatest actors to Bergman Week," says artistic director Annie Karlsson in a press release.
Binoche will present the Swedish premiere of the dance documentary film "In-I in Motion", which she directed, and will participate in a stage conversation on June 24.
Her credits include films such as "The Unbearable Lightness of Being", Kieslowski's "Three Colours: Blue" and "The English Patient", for which she was awarded an Oscar in 1997. She is also president of the European Film Academy, a role first held by Ingmar Bergman.
Bergman Week is being held this year between June 22 and 26.
