Six Swedes were on the pitch when the prestigious match kicked off on Saturday afternoon. Home team Manchester United started with wing-backs Hanna Lundkvist and Anna Sandberg and midfielder Julia Zigiotti.
On the other side of the field, Liverpool lined up with Cornelia Kapocs and Alice Bergström in midfield and Beata Olsson as a striker.
It then took just six minutes before one of the Swedes had put the ball in the net. Julia Zigiotti received the ball as a gift from Liverpool goalkeeper Khiara Keating and coolly lobbed it in for 1-0.
Despite Liverpool creating pressure on United's goal towards the end of the match, Zigiotti's goal was enough to secure three points for United.
