US President Donald Trump has previously been ordered by a court to pay the equivalent of approximately SEK 56 million in damages in a civil case involving, among other things, sexual assault against author Elizabeth Jean Carroll in the 1990s.
After an appeal was rejected by the Supreme Court just over a week ago, a judge has now decided that the money should be released to the author.
Trump's lawyers say they will now appeal the decision on the payment.
