The temporary restraining order was issued by a judge in Tennessee, USA, at the request of the management company She's Alive, which is to manage and protect Dolly Parton's estate.
Bryan Seaver was Parton's security man for many years, and also the one who announced her death on August 25 this year. He is now accused by She's Alive of threatening violence and destroying his aunt's legacy.
In his decision, the judge is said to have taken into account the repeated threats mentioned in the complaint, demands for payment, and Seaver's "alleged access to weapons, experience with violence, and intent to retaliate."
The ban means that Seaver is not allowed to contact the company's staff or come near their offices, nor contact other clients.
A court hearing is scheduled for October 7.
