The lawsuit of 15 billion dollars, equivalent to over 140 billion kronor, concerns defamation, according to Trump. In the lawsuit, both a book and a newspaper article are pointed out, written by two reporters at the newspaper.

The texts concern Trump's economic dealings and his program leadership in the TV program "The apprentice".

Federal District Judge Steven Merryday considered that the lawsuit was "unlawful and inadmissible" and gave Trump's lawyers 28 days to submit a new lawsuit.
