Judge Dismisses Trump’s $10 Billion Lawsuit Against The Wall Street Journal Again, This Time With Finality

A federal judge in Florida has dismissed Donald Trump’s lawsuit against The Wall Street Journal for the second time this year.

The president sued the respected business magazine and its owner, Rupert Murdoch, for $10 billion, equivalent to just over 90 billion kronor, after the magazine reported on his connections to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The article was about an erotic letter that Trump, according to the magazine, sent to Epstein on his 50th birthday in 2003.

A judge dismissed the lawsuit in April this year, and it was refiled. The new lawsuit has also been dismissed, now “with finality,” meaning it cannot be reopened. The judge wrote in the decision that Trump’s side “grasped at straws” in trying to prove that the facts were fabricated.
