She did not succeed in taking one of the five quota places that were at stake in the Olympic Games qualification in Beijing. The Swede was ninth after the short program and did not manage to climb in the free program.

The 30-year-old was in the Olympic Games in Beijing 2022 and then came in 25th place.

Russia and Belarus are welcome to participate in the Olympic Games in Milano-Cortina next year, as neutral athletes. The Russian Adelia Petrosian and the Belarusian Viktorija Safonova secured quota places for their nations, Petrosian by winning the qualification.
