In the post, the former vice-president of the International Football Association Board (FIFA) claims that Jordan, among other things, has not received its prize money from the Arab Championship in Qatar 2025. He says that the federation has sought help from FIFA regarding the money, but has been denied this.
"That was until it was verbally communicated to me during the World Cup that it would help if I expressed my support for Infantino," he writes on X.
"We have not supported him before, and we certainly will not do so now. The whole situation can be described as blackmail and we refuse to give in to it."
FIFA has not commented on the allegations, AP writes.
