Joost Klein is in Sweden for the first time since the European Championship in Malmö, when he was disqualified a few hours before the final.

The Dutch artist performed on Saturday evening at the Homecoming festival in Uppsala – and addressed the fact that he had been the subject of a police investigation in Sweden.

Now I can speak freely again, said the artist according to Upsala Nya Tidning.

Joost Klein was disqualified just a few hours before the final of the European Championship Song Contest – after being reported to the police for unlawful threats against a TV photographer. The investigation against him was dropped a couple of weeks ago and Klein referred to what had happened as the "Voldemort incident" before the audience.

Joost Klein was one of the favorites in this year's European Championship Song Contest in Malmö with his contribution "Europapa".
