It was a Swedish scoring party in Miami last night. Jonatan Berggren got on the scoresheet by making it 2–0 in the second period, and then followed up the goal with two assists. Berggren has now scored in two NHL games in a row.
St. Louis' Swedish talent Otto Stenberg, who was recently called up from the farm team, also showed his mettle in the match with two assists.
Jesper Boqvist also scored a point for the home team, Florida. However, the match ended 6–2 to St. Louis, which thus broke Florida's winning streak of four straight games.
