On social media, he writes that it feels "damn awful" and says that he is sharing the news so he doesn't have to hide or explain everything.
"Now I have finally started treatment, and the road ahead will be really long and tough; I understand that, but in a way it feels a little better to at least have some kind of hope that things will turn around," writes Stentäpp, who also pleads: "please don't avoid me or say how sorry you are for me. It will only get worse."
Together with Hjalmar Östman, Stentäpp became known as Hjalle and Heavy after appearing on the TV program "På rymmen" on TV4. He also played in the punk bands Mimikry and Dökött and has worked as a journalist for, among others, Dala-Demokraten.
