Author Jonas Gren has been awarded this year's Ferlin Prize. He has written, among other works, the poetry collections "Lantmäteriet" and "Anthropocene" and the novel "Kromosomparken".

"Jonas Gren receives the 2026 Poetry Prize for his civilization-critical nature poetry that, with beauty, absurdity and sadness, depicts human existence and relationship to nature," reads part of the citation.

Previously, Emil Jensen and Kristina Lugn, among others, have received the award.

Each year, the Nils Ferlin Society also awards a troubadour prize. This year, the prize goes to the duo Adolphson & Falk. "In their accurate interpretations, they show that the questions and thoughts that filled Nils Ferlin are at least as urgent today," the Nils Ferlin Society said in a press release.
