"I'm so happy that 'Never Dry Tears' is finally coming out as a single, wonderfully thick novel. That's how I wrote it for ten years," said Gardell in a press release from publisher Norstedts.
The novel series, about a group of young gay men during the 1980s HIV epidemic, was published in three parts, "Love", "The Disease" and "Death", between 2012 and 2013.
The single-volume book will be published on September 17. A week later, the musical version will premiere at Göta Lejon in Stockholm with newly written music by Fredrik Kempe.
