The pharmaceutical company Johnson & Johnson says it has reached a settlement worth just over 53 billion kronor, Reuters reports Reuters.
According to the company, the settlement covers a large number of legal cases - which have been ongoing for many years - in which, among other things, the company's baby powder has been accused of causing ovarian cancer.
The company calls the allegations “baseless,” but says the settlement makes it possible to “put the matter behind us.”
