"For me, AIK is a closed chapter after Sunday. It wasn't what I wanted, of course. But at the same time I've experienced so many wonderful things, which have been magical," he tells Expressen .
After Sunday's match, he will no longer train with the club.
It's kind of nice not to have a contract. You can take it easy. Take a vacation. Breathe a little. Maybe get out of the spotlight for a little while. Relax. Then take it from there.
Where – or if – Guidetti will play next season has not been decided, but he says he has received offers.
"We'll see. It's hard to say. I'll know when I have it in front of me. I'm pretty picky," the 33-year-old tells the newspaper.
Since his debut in the AIK shirt in July 2022, the striker has scored nine goals in 68 matches in the Allsvenskan. Guidetti has also played 29 senior internationals for Sweden and he won gold at the U21 European Championship in 2015.
