The script is in production and it is a great honor to have a film made about his life, Fogerty revealed during a ceremony at the Songwriters Hall of Fame, where he received the organization's highest honor.
And he also has some thoughts about who could portray him.
"Who was that Bob Dylan guy? That would be amazing," the 81-year-old told US Weekly, referring to Timothée Chalamet.
Chalamet's transformation into a young Dylan in "A Complete Unknown" earned the film eight Oscar nominations, including for Best Actor.
"Whoever they find who makes it work, I'll be happy with," Fogerty assured.
