Golf profile John Daly set a new record low on the veterans tour PGA Champions tour. During the second round of Sanford International, Daly needed a total of 19 strokes on a par 5 hole.

It was on the twelfth hole that the 59-year-old ended up in both the rough and the water hazard before he got the ball in the hole, which thus required 19 strokes.

This is the highest number of strokes a player has made on a hole on the veteran tour, writes the British The Guardian.

Daly is now last with a margin in the competition at +18, with nine strokes up to Tom Lehman who is second to last.

American Daly has made himself a noted profile in the golf world, with his striking clothing, unusual diet, and his life outside of golf.
