But as the Norwegian has hinted at press conferences before the World Cup finals in Holmenkollen, the door was not closed to a final race in Lahtis – which is now also the case.
Johaug has been selected for the Norwegian team and will compete in the 50km, where she seeks revenge after the loss in the VM 50km in Trondheim, where she won silver behind Frida Karlsson.
Besides the 50km, which concludes the World Cup competitions in Finland and the entire World Cup season, sprint and team sprint are also on the program.
Notably, another Norwegian star, Heidi Weng, chooses to opt out.
