National team coach Tony Gustavsson did not want to risk another serious injury in the squad and therefore decided in advance not to play Johanna Rytting Kaneryd against Denmark on Tuesday.
But he has not ruled her out ahead of the continuation of World Cup qualifying in Stockholm on Saturday.
Today she was still in the first training session. She has followed the plan and ticked off each day, Tony Gustavsson says.
Tomorrow night I will know how many minutes she can play. Everyone understands that those minutes are limited, but if I were to judge from today alone, it looks positive.
