Johan Persson receives the debutant prize Slangbellan for his book "Ivy vs Ivy" in the category of children's and young adult literature, writes the Swedish Writers' Association.
In its motivation for this year's winner, the jury writes "Ivy vs Ivy is a concentrate of existence, a cut-out of a whole small universe; a development novel in miniature, written with insightful feeling for nuances."
The prize consists of a handcrafted sling bell and 30,000 kronor.
