Johan Glans plays the main role in the "crazy" sketch series "Doktor Bebis" when SVT makes a major investment in humor for children this autumn.

”The entire idea for the series comes from a dream I had. I woke up one morning and had Doctor Bebis' signature melody on my head and had a clear picture of a children's program that just had to be made and SVT Barn turned out to be on”, says Johan Glans in a press release.

The series is about a “completely ordinary hospital” where Johan plays both nurse and the doctor “Doctor Bebis”.

Doctor Bebis with friends premieres on September 12 on SVT.

First out in the fall's humor initiative is ”Premiere!” with eight short films for both children and adults, created by children between six and ten years old together with comedians like Sissela Benn, Ahmed Berhan, Cecilia Forss and Måns Nathanaelson. ”Premiere!” premieres on August 22.

Humor will also be featured in ”Sweden's youngest comedians” where six young humor talents for a few weeks get to try standup, improvisation and slapstick under the leadership of Robin Paulsson. The program premieres on October 24.
