The comedian and actor Johan Glans receives the newly established humor award Humor på skånska. The prize amount is 150,000 kronor and has been created by, among others, the Skånska Akademien to "highlight laughter and humor in times when the world can feel dark and anxious".
"What an honor! There are over a million funny Scanians, so it feels completely incredible to be chosen among all of us. I'm insanely proud", says Johan Glans in a press release.
The prize will be awarded annually and goes to a public person, institution, or phenomenon with a Scanian connection that "delivers humor with quality" that has reached beyond Scania, according to the criteria.
