Frölunda icon Joel Lundqvist has worked as an expert commentator on TV4's hockey broadcasts since his retirement. He has now signed a new two-year contract, beginning his fourth year with the channel.
"We have had one-year contracts before, but now we both felt it was time to sign a slightly longer agreement. It suits me well, and it suits TV4 well," he tells the newspaper.
The 44-year-old also offers an analysis of the SHL season - which begins on September 19. He sees last year's winners Skellefteå as the favourite, but at the same time stresses that they are challenged by Rögle, Frölunda, Växjö and Färjestad.
